5 must-have Shopify apps, that we use for our projects at Lira
How to integrate Shopify with a Merchant Center, Facebook Ads, and Microsoft
Ads account? How to transfer the reviews from the website directly to ads?
How to return a customer who abandoned the cart? How to increase the average
check? How to increase repeat purchases? We talk about all this in our
article using the example of specific applications that have proven
efficiency based on our practice.
1. Shopify integration with ad accounts
Solution: Feed for google shopping app
The huge advantage of this app is that it’s totally multipurpose – it integrates not only with the Merchant Center, but also with Facebook Ads and Microsoft Ads (Bing). The application transmits a feed with product data live, and it works flawlessly. It is convenient to correct titles and product descriptions in the application. There is no need to set time-consuming conversion rules in the Merchant Center. We are ready to recommend Feed for google shopping, it has been tested in practice on multiple cases, on projects with different revenues from $300/day to $30,000/day.
2. Import product review data from the website to Google Ads
Solution: any of the eligible reviews aggregators by Google
The list of eligible reviews aggregators:
Ads with reviews give more credibility to the product and store to the user even before going to the website. These ads are bright and attract more attention. This directly affects CTR and sales. Have a look at the way how ads with reviews stand out against the ordinary ads:
Shopify has a variety of website review aggregators, but not all of them can connect to the Merchant Center. Google approves aggregators that meet a number of requirements, and one of the important points is verified reviews from real buyers. Find a link to the list of approved aggregators above You can choose any of them that suits you and that is presented in Shopify. All of them seamlessly connect to the Merchant Center and submit reviews to advertisements.
It is also possible to connect applications that are not on this list. The application must have integration with Google (you can see it on the application’s website). And when applying for a connection to the Merchant Center, you need to indicate that the application is not an eligible aggregator, and it is a third-party integration. Then the app will be connected, but it will take more time. So we connected the Opinew Product Reviews App on one of the projects, it was possible to connect, but we waited 4 months (even though the condition for the minimum number of reviews was met initially).
3. Abandoned cart emailing
Solution: Klaviyo app
You don’t need to hire an email marketer to launch an abandoned cart email campaign, just install Klaviyo and set up ready-made templates. That is why we choose this application – inside there are ready to use emailing scripts with all the necessary settings, which you just need to activate:
Inside the template, select triggers, activate prepared text messages, set the intervals for sending emails, change subjects and texts if necessary, you can also add discount coupons, and you’re done. An example of a configured email conversation:
We also recommend experimenting with different settings and texts to find the best combinations. You can measure the results in the Analytics section inside Klaviyo.
4. Increase the number of repeat purchases
Solution: ReConvert Upsell & Cross Sell app
That can be a great discovery for many merchants or ecomm PPC experts – the number of repeat purchases can be increased on the Thank you page, immediately after the customer makes the first purchase. Moreover, the same product that the buyer has just purchased is getting sold well with the offered discount:
The application also allows you to offer another product that may be interesting to the client:
There are many other features that we recommend experimenting with to get more sales on the Thank you page. On the projects we run this application brings up to 5% of additional orders.
5. Increase the average check
Solution: Frequently Bought Together app
With Frequently Bought Together, you can add a section with additional products recommendations to a product card. Moreover, the application independently selects the products that are worth recommending so that it is most likely to be bought. This selection is based on machine learning, which analyzes the entire history of purchases on your website.
You can also create such recommendations and bundles manually. And for more motivation to buy, give a discount on such a bundle:
The app is getting configured quickly and allows you to start getting results from the first day of use. The design automatically adjusts to the design of your website and you can choose where to place this block. The app has responsive technical support, always ready to help.
We hope this review will help you choose apps for Shopify store and make your digital marketing even more effective, bring you satisfied customers and high sales.
